A perennial with a sturdy, bushy growth habit that can reach a height of 60 to 80 cm. From June to September, small, lilac-blue flowers with a yellow center appear, resembling asters and attracting bees and butterflies. Kalimeris incisa 'Blue Star' prefers a semi-shade to sunny position in well-drained, dry to moderately moist soil. This plant is suitable for borders or as a cut flower. It is very winter-hardy and highly resistant to pests and diseases.
